Too Young for a Heart Attack

God is faithful. He loves us and breaks into our lives when we need Him most. TV host Michael Coren can testify to that. The story of his salvation bears the imprint of God's gentle but supernatural intervention (see God on the Small Screen).

So does a story I can relate personally. This week we've included my story about my daughter's experience with God's faithfulness. Pregnant, at 27 years of age, she suddenly experienced severe chest pains. It couldn't be a heart attack, could it? In the article titled Too Young for a Heart Attack, I share how God intervened in every detail of our lives at a critical time.

God's faithfulness is a great gift. Allow a medical student to share the story of her walk of faith, and let it inspire you to seek a closer relationship with the Lord (see Learning to Know the Faithfulness of God).

Faithfulness is a virtue, but do we need to remain faithful to the church we attend? The author of Flirting with Other Churches says that sometimes Christians look for new churches for all the wrong reasons.

Read also about three artists who have discovered ways to share their faith through the arts. A quilt-maker, a painter, and an author share how their art and faith have grown together (see Answers in the Arts). And don't miss Dr. Wayne Elford's insights into sharing the Gospel with other cultures. During short-term missions, he says, we need to be sensitive to the way we introduce spiritual matters to people of other traditions (see Changing Face of Missions).

Enjoy this week's articles, and consider making your homepage.

Blessings in Christ,
